I like President Obama picking his bracket and going on ESPN to talk about it. i think anything the President can do to be more in touch with the people is great..

We are missing the most obviously disappointing thing about Obama's bracket.  He went all chalk.  He picked all No. 1 seeds in his final four.

I want a president who's going to go out on the limb.  Even a little.

I picked Princeton to make the Sweet 16.  They came close.  Sort of.

Right.  He should be out clearing some brush.

Or making an oil-rich middle east country safe for democracy.

Go Boilermakers!!!
A gentleman never mentions Purdue in mixed company.

That said, this forum seems a safe space to mention Purdue. (All apologies to Katie and saintangelsin, if this happens to be their one day every sixty they log in.)

Why is that?!?  I would think that would be Ohio State…

my partner’s family has a long line of Boilermakers (not her) and after watching them disappoint year after year…

Serge, I can’t explain how social mores arose, I just know a gentleman never mentions Purdue in mixed-company. No offense to the train and drum people; its just how it is.

I only have MAX/TNT and don't have ESPN. So I've watched some of the men's games, but only got to watch the women's final. The women's game was sooooo much more exciting than the men's.

Still, it sucks that the men's game starts so late.

Just like in the women's game, one team had the best player and the other had the best team.
