Yeah read this quote from a show writeup for them:
Quote
R&B recording artist and vocal impersonator George Jamison, American Idol sweetheart Jenni Schick, and the NYC Latin sensation Ramon Delacruz  make up SPECTRUM?s dream-team front line.   They dazzle and interact with your audience thruout the night, always delivering an amazing performance and will dress up or down to fit your venue or event! Spectrum performs a mix of old-school and modern music---from Kool & The Gang and  Stevie Wonder to Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Black Eyed Peas and Cee Lo Green!  With an energy-driven show and a repertiore broad enough to satisfy any and all ages, Spectrum is an act your audience will long remember and demand back!
i agree about the Ceremony money thing...

Another interesting fact about that is both bands started those projects in 2004.

Did you listen to Ceremony's album "distance" yet?  I have only checked out the two songs that came on a cassingle from later in 2013.

I have not.

Not long ago, a band called Harmonia played the Millennium Stage. Realizing it wasn't the 70's Harmonia was rough.

Sadly, the boring Ceremony probably have more money than the good Ceremony.

Not sure which is which - west coast is boring? - but I bet neither have any money. I like both of them.

Is anyone else interested in starting a pizza related band called The Smashing Pizzas? It wouldn't be a copy of Pizza Underground; we'd be a Chicago Deep-Dish style pizza band as opposed to their NY/Sicilian style pizza band.

this is one of the funnier things you've posted here.  POTW in my books.

So.....Metro Gallery.  No stage?  Every pic I've found shows performers right at crowd level.  Can anyone confirm?

Going to see Loop, regardless.  But that's a bummer, if correct.

They have a stage.  It is less than 2 feet high (not sure what the exact height is).  I usually stand by the stage, so most of my pictures are at this type of perspective:

It is a very small place.  I don't think there is probably a better place to see a band as you are going to be close to the stage and people don't seem to be pushy like other places.  I see Killsally mentioned that it has a 2 foot stage.  So there you go you should be happy it is at the Metro Gallery.  And you can usually find free parking on Charles street on the bridge between Penn Station and Metro.

If it's an intimate spot then great. I was more concerned about it being a place the size of rnrhotel with a 2 inch stage.

It is one of my favorite places to see a show.  It is very intimate and they bring in great artists.  Sarah who runs the place is also cool as hell.
