I don't know anything about Christ Stapleton but Frank Turner rocks...

He's a fat, talentless hack.
hmm...I can't argue your second statement, but he's as skinny as a bean pole

I saw him once courtesy of Vas and he put on a fabulous show.. not sure I need to see it again though... but as part of a multiple act bill I think he's a great addition.

I think he thought you were referring to Frank Turner.

But he said he couldn't argue the second (talentless hack) part of the statement. Since Sidehatch is a big Turner fan, I assumed he must be referring to Stapleton, as I was....since it seems he would have something to say about Turner's talent.

I do not see "CIP" anywhere, but the Soundstage usually sells a few different levels of tickets.  General Admission, Package Tickets (I Think those are for all shows), and VIP for SOME SHOWS (depending on the artist).

The bold text you copy and pasted is for the Package Tickets:

Quote
Soundstage Show Package for 2

This package includes admission for 2, a reserved table with preferred assigned seating for 2, dedicated waitress and a $20 credit towards any of our Kitchen Menu items. Please note: You will only receive 1 ticket that is good for 2 people and a 20% gratuity will be added.

Or

Quote
Soundstage Show Package for 4

This package includes admission for 4, a reserved table with preferred assigned seating for 4, dedicated waitress and a $40 credit towards any of our Kitchen Menu items. Please note: You will only receive 1 ticket that is good for 4 people and a 20% gratuity will be added.

But SOMETIMES they also have the VIP ones like:

Quote
General Admission - Deluxe VIP

Early entry at 4:30pm, begins at 5:00pm, Early access to merchandise VIP Laminate Tour poster Cinch bag Pre show meet and greet/hang time

It depends on the show.  The ones I just listed are from a random one right before the Holy Holy one.

whoa kilsal and hutch being cordial

So when I saw the FLAG show there, there is a seated section that is the right side of the club and goes up to the stage.  then the rest is gen admin.   They are just chairs and round tables and you can move them around and I think it's first come first serve.   If I recall it's also slightly elevated, so easy to see the stage even while seated.  the food was mediocre at best and wish I could have just used it for drinks.

the holy holy one is reserved seating, but it's a pretty small section with probably only 50 seats? so none are really bad

by the way St. Germain has cancelled.. I wonder if it was poor ticket sales or what happened.. I thought at $48 plus fees for a band that had their huge moment 15 years ago it was a bit pricey....maybe they had visa issues ..who knows...

The $48 price included a digital copy of their latest album. If ticket buyers had already downloaded it, do they still get a full refund? How much of the ticket price was the download?

I've noticed that the Ben Harper shows are also saddled with a CD copy of his latest. Tickets are $57.50 and neither show is sold out, unlike in the past. Maybe such 360'ed packages are the problem.
