McCartney's show last night at Verizon was pretty fan-freakin'-tastic. Very happy that I had the chance to see him. Further proof that age does not dictate the quality and length of a show. Stunning that he was up there for 2 hours and 20 minutes for the main set. 2 hours 45 minutes total. Incredible.

As opposed to a lookalike? Yup, pretty sure.

If you mean pre-recorded? Nope, the band was all live. Check out the pedigree of the musicians on the stage. A lot of chops on that stage.

I was incredibly impressed as well. It's hard to comprehend that a 74 year old guy can do this day in/day out.

Yeah, Def Leppard is doing the canned vocal thing. Check out the 2:20 mark. What's even the point?

no, sillies . . . I was referring to the fact, that some people believe that paul died in the late 60's and was replaced by a look a like and John tried to send out messages in the music and linear notes.  the, end.

Loved the Paul McCartney show.  Especially the bit in the middle, where they sort of stripped it down.

And the totally bombastic: https://www.instagram.com/p/BI6m1D_gK6X/?taken-by=jdginstagramz&hl=en

I'm so bummed.. I wanted to check them out but I just can't see hiking to Nissan with the canned vocals.. I need to be excited to ever make it to big shows and I'm just not there cause of this issue... I'd be on the lawn anyways .. I can just put on the records at home...

I don't really fault them for doing it.. Joe's had some vocal issues recently and I guess they did not want to cancel the tour... BUT I just can't get into it...

I bet training for and running a marathon at that age is a lot harder.

What does running have to do with anything?

Post of the hour.

My point was I don't find it hard to comprehend a 74 year old man playing energetically for 2.5 hours a day repeatedly. There are 74 year old men running 50+ miles a week and running 26.2 mile runs in a day. And they aren't getting paid.

Now if he was 94 and doing it, I'd be quite impressed.  ;)

I often struggle and fail to comprehend your reasoning. I'm stunned that anything at this juncture impresses you.

its just a put down of Paul.. per usual trying to crap all over people's experience...

maybe when he is 74 he can perform for three hours in front of 20,000 people and let us know how easy it was..
