Went and saw GnR in Hershey PA last night.  I will never complain about a big show at Verizon or FedEx again.  I've never seen beer/bathroom lines like that.  Sucks when you go to see a rock and roll show you took the next day after off of work for and can't get a beer.  I didn't even try.  100 people deep.

I was really happy to hear American Dream...but without David J, they edited like half of the song...and that was my favorite part  "alcohol is my yoga baby"

Ugh - big regret in messing those guys but I just couldn't justify the trip to either Baltimore or Richmond.  Glad it was a great show.  Actually, you may be mixing up "American Dream" with "Yin and Yang and the Flower Pot Man".  I'm pretty sure that line is from the latter song.

You are correct
I made a Spotify playlist had some weird mismatch on AD?
where this one version of American dream is actually just YYatFpm
It is correct if you go right to the express album on Spotify

Man I really did want to hear yin yang... obviously a David j song

Album tours at trite
but I would love if they didn't Express American Edition tour
Without holidays in the moon and ball of confusion it's kind of a different album

Had an insanely fun time with some of the Belle & Sebastian gang at the after party DJed by Chris & Richard last night. I even got to meet Cynthia Plaster Caster too. Apparently she's a big fan. Hmmmmm.

Damn... I really wanted to check that out, couldn't muster up the energy after my first day back at work in 10 days*.

*it would've been nice if the set times were posted as well.

Was Great, yes.  I stood close to Doug; thought he was killing it throughout.

I was between Bobby Bare Jr and bob..really close...for sure Doug and Kevin carry the band...Pollard is simply amazing...continues to sound great..i noticed the liquor bottle disappeared at some point..bobby bare looked far more worn out and unsmiling than last time at the 930....i enjoyed hearing your name is wild especially

Bare seemed to be having some fun, dancing around...but definitely looked slovenly en sweat pants.

GBV at Otto was spectacular. God bless Bob.

Just got back from A Giant Dog at DC9. They absolutely fucking destroyed it.

I'm going to check them out again at Otto I think. They're the real deal.

I second that....they blew the roof off the place
also did Great covers of Don't Change by INXS and Angst in my Pants by Sparks

so many good songs, soo much energy
a friend of mine was convinced the lead singer was doing meth...and that seemed accurate

this was their first DC show and the new album came out last week and it's fantastic
I picked up the vinyl and man this is a creepy cover
