88. Dino Jr. was a joyful experience, and not near the loudest that I have experienced with them. Lou was particularly animated.

Agreed. Great show but nowhere near as loud as expected. Weird crowd, too.

Crowd was different, more biker/heavy-metaller than indie rock record store clerkish. Place had a "fist-fight may break out at any moment" vibe.

Titus Andronicus was a reminder that, among other things, Chris Wilson is a beast of a drummer. Saw him play 6 times this year: 3x in Titus, 2x in Hammered Hulls, and 1x in Ted Leo Rx.  Patrick was his usual deadpan funny, sweaty, bearded frontman. Show seemed well attended to me, but he (joked?) that it was the smallest attendance at Blackcat show ever for the band.
