I don't have any major takes to tell from the Old 97's show in Baltimore last night. It was my first time in the city I once called home in maybe five years yesterday, maybe more, maybe less. A few comments:
1. I made it to three breweries. I had a single beer at each, so my opinion in no way fairly covers all, but in order of preference: 1. Nepenthe (first time there) 2. Pariah (first time there) 3. Union Craft (first time at new location.)
2. Baltimore crowds on a Sunday night are more lively than DC crowds on a Friday night.
3. The other three Old 97's are aging, but Rhett Miller never does.
4. I'm glad I got Vas to go to his first Old 97's show in 21 years. He actually seemed to be enjoying it.
