I still think this isn't happening.  Last year their were articles i the post and sun predicting who would be playing.  the date was out in march and the line-up announced july 13th.

If it's the 22nd, I can see The Killers, Jack White, and Miike Snow as possibilities. I'd love to see Nicole Atkins added, but I doubt she's doing any more non-local shows for this record. And maybe Beck. When's the last time he's played the DC area?

i've never been . . . but i used to hate merriweather but now i like merriweather and it is a nice scenic ride from my home.  harpers ferry is always a bonus.  i could see myself going this year if the line up was cool.  like dead milkmen cool.  like they fucking rocked out u street cool and deserve to destroy the minds of those to witness such a spectacle, at the v fest.
