Royalties and the like would kill the idea. Either that or triple the price of drinks and such. Nice idea though.

Seacrets in OC has one but I've never tried listening. Probably only broadcasts for a few miles out, if that. Something that I should know about anyway as someone is bound to ask me about it one of these days.

i was just thinking the other day that places like 930 club and black cat ..etc etc are like the movie theaters in the 70's.  Fine as long as someone taller than you was in front of you.  When are they going to upgrade the live music venues in this area?   

Why aren't there shows anymore at Constitution Hall or Warner Theater?  They were decent places to see bands.  Sick of going to shitty old style bars to see bands.

Constitution Hall is not a music venue.


As far as the Warner we all know what is going on there... Live Nation routes its concerts , almost exclusively, to the Fillmore. Costs far less to put on a show there.

The Hamilton is a wonderful music venue by the way.. not a "cheap bar"

Seth has more than likely started using Merriweather instead of Constitution Hall for shows at that level.
