Other than that i was able to score a pair of tickets to the Foo Fighters show here in Richmond last week.  I took my dad (he is 87 years old) and we had a blast!

Man Sentenced For Concert Scam
A man from Virginia Beach, Va., is going to prison for defrauding investors who thought they were backing concerts by performers like Beyoncé, Jay Z, and Prince.

The U.S. Attorney's office says Kensey Lamonte Wright was sentenced to three years and five months in prison. Wright entered a guilty plea to wire fraud in June.

According to court documents, Wright acted as a representative for concert promoters.

He promised investors returns as high as 100 percent within just two weeks to two months, and told investors their money would be used to promote concerts. The money instead went to gambling and personal expenses.

I thought I would completely hate going on a cruise but the family did one this summer to the Bahamas and it was absolutely delightful. By the eighth day, we were ready to get off the boat, but during the week, there was a million things to do, we spent a fortune on everything, and made the most of all of our island stops. It helped greatly that in eight days, it was clear sunny skies except for a 20 minute rain on day 7.

I'm not hopping to do another one anytime soon but I was very pleasantly surprised at how much fun we had.

What were the "million things" you did on the boat?

Were those million things more fun than you would have had just flying to and island and doing a million things on the island?

I am not sure about the source material (is he supposed to be a stand up comedian?  Does he go between comedy, and horror stories on stage?), but this version is amazing.
