She definitely has a nicer ass than either of the Indigo Girls. So there's that.

I liked The Milk-Eyed Mender and Ys but thought Have One on Me was bloated and self-indulgent and never made it all the way through it. Yet to listen to her new one.

Is it still a hot take if the take came five years after the fact?

I don't care for her music, but surely she upped her coolness factor by marrying the SNL dude.

You've got that backwards.

so the foo's are up to somthing

That probably explains why out of the blue my daughter asked me the other day "Daddy, what's a foo?"

Sigh.

Probably my most anticipated release of the past few months, Perfume's new ep is very disappointing. Just sorta limp and lifeless, and not a single moment of exuberance. I listen to 'Level 3' or 'JPN' and I want to race a dancing kitty kat automobile to the joyful candy moon or something, but this new one just makes me feel like an old oatmeal woman.

Fortunately Red Velvet saves the day with their debut album, quixotically called "The Red" and smashing lead-off single "Dumb Dumb".
