This mashup of Oasis's 'Don't Look Back In Anger' and Hall & Oates "Out Of Touch" has received the seal of approval from both Noel and Hall & Oates

Almost forgot about this and it's only available for two more days

One of the world's most enigmatic musicians, David Sylvian shares thoughts and ideas in a specially recorded Audio Diary for the show, his first public dialogue for around fifteen years. Mary Anne will be celebrating his incredible body of work in a special “Spirit of Sylvian” show featuring artists who've influenced him, contemporary musicians he's inspired, his own collaborations and solo work, and music she’d like to play to David.

Thanks for this.  It has been a long difficult 15 years for many of us.

tis the season of European festival announcements which always have me wishing i live in the uk especially for some of the small festivals even though outdoor festivals aren't the most ideal live situations..  the Primavera Sound festival looks amazing wish I could pull that one off..

anyways this little festival in England is very relevant to my interests

Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott are currently touring in the UK and Jacqui comes down ill and is unable to do a couple shows.  Paul chooses to press on with those shows, but does offer refunds which is a class move.  Of course this means he might end up doing a bunch of Housemartins songs..

this 1979 office party is off the hook!

IAN CURTIS at his office Christmas Party in December 1979. The image was 'discovered' in 2020 and was quite grainy - I've had a go at restoring it and improving the colour.
The photograph features staff from the job centre where Ian worked. It was based at South Park Road in Macclesfield, mere yards away from Ian's house at 77 Barton Street. There he worked as Assistant Disablement Resettlement Officer, helping find work for people with special needs.

wasn't 100% sure where this should go

WIN CONCERTS FOR A YEAR

Get ready for next concert season with Concerts For A Year.*
To enter visit www.livenation.com/budlightcfay

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Ends 12/31/22. .

*"Concerts For A Year" awarded in the form of $3,000 in Live Nation e-gift cards

So conceivably you could spend all $3k on one concert for some VIP package, parking and drinks
as long as they don't make me drink bud light seltzer

I believe that a “Behind The Music” show on Journey would be biggest yawn ever, well except for the fact the one dude apparently got cutoff from the band’s AMEX for allegedly spending a million dollars on it  :o
