I've never seen so many sub-genres spring up as you see under the Electronic Music genre. 

i feel like metal is up there, if not worse. don't ask me to tell you the difference between black metal and thrash metal. it all just sounds like noise to me. but good noise.

I've never seen so many sub-genres spring up as you see under the Electronic Music genre.   As pointed out by sweetcell, Electronic Music Genre's also seem to get dumbed down as their reach a wider audience.
