If the Detroit series had gone five, Davis would have been available for the games 4-7 of the ALCS. There would have been debate about whether they should hold a roster spot for him for those games. (I think there was a Sun article on this potential prior to Sunday's game.) Now, with him out five more games, there's really no debate. Which is good, I'm glad he's not playing in the ALCS, and glad there's no controversy, at least for the next series.
Now hopefully they come to their senses and keep Uselessbaldo off of the ALCS roster. They may need an extra pitcher for a potential seven game series (?), but if they do, add two of (Webb, Matusz, McFarland) and drop U-Baldo.
They swept so he would only
I have cable and I don't live in Baltimore either. I don't know what that has to do with Chris Davis. He's an afterthought. Until the Series. If they get there. As I said.
