mattingly would be great for the nats but since he doesn't come with strings he won't even get a consideration.

i dont want donnie here either, even though the dodgers mess wasnt his fault

the nats need a manager with experience but as little baggage as possible. bud black's the man.

i like that rizzo's seemingly interviewing everyone out there (with the noted exception of cal ripken) this time around

I would hire Cal... Rizzo always finds a reason not to hire him...

Bud Black is nothing special.. he is not the next Girardi.. he is not ever going to be as successful as Maddon

Rizzo needs to get fired.

I would not hire anyone with no managerial experience, nor would I hire anyone who hasn't played in the NL.  It's a different game....

Rizzo is a complete idiot... interviewing over the hill guys like dusty...

Folks haven't figured out by now that teams interview Dusty because MLB requires you to interview minorities?

bud black's the man.

I agree.  He's never managed a talented team - if the Nats don't want him, I'm happy to have him back as our pitching coach.

DiPoto really looking for revenge.  Seattle to name former Angels Assistant GM Scott Servais as manager.  He's a numbers guy and won't conflict with Jerry's approach.

it's an embarrassment that bonds and clemens haven't been inducted yet. what a bunch of self-righteous nincompoops those voters are.

That's Roenicke in that photo too.  He's back as third base coach.
