Where can I find Fortitude?
It is on a network called Pivot. If you do not get the network, your cable provider may bizarrely -- as is the case for me -- give you their programming thru your OnDemand service.

I think Pop Tv is the latest addition to that odd only if you buy the entire enchilada channel. They have Schitt's Creek a Canadian sitcom with Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara and Chris Elliott. Has a bit of a Waiting for Guffman, Best In Show vibe

I get PopTv in HD I'm fairly certain although I've never watched anything on it. I'll check that show out.

Anyone catch Better Call Saul?

It didn't really keep me engaged. Thought it started and ended strong. It almost feels like they're building it like Breaking Bad with showing how hopeless and repetitive his life was/had become. The ending of last night hooked me into watching tonight's episode though.

Fucking Vince Gilligan.

If you remember Breaking Bad, it also started slow and didn't hit its stride until season 2 or 3.
That's what I was thinking! I missed the episode on Monday, but I'm intriged enough already to stick with it.

I'm enjoying Better Call Saul but I also don't have any expectation of it getting nearly as good as Breaking Bad was. Its definitely doing that build tension --> big release thing that Breaking Bad was good at.

I used the snow day today to catch up on the first four episodes of this. Great show, love it and never would have heard about it if not for this thread. (Annie Murphy, who plays the daughter, is all kinds of gorgeous as well.)

What is the real point of watching television?  Do we learn, do we escape . . . or are we just that boring.

How the hell did House Of Cards season 3 sneak up on me? I thought season 2 was lacking, but as I currently re-watch it was definitely a lot better than the first time I watched it. Maybe just because I had waited so long between season 1 and 2. I think watching them back to back helps. Maybe I was just shocked by so many characters from season 1 being discarded like garbage throughout the season.

Needless to say, I look forward to binging on season 3 over the next week.

Yeah, basically the secondary lead gets iced in epsiode 1. It was a really bold move and it wasn't really the same show after that.

I'm planning a season 3 binge session this weekend myself.
