Anyone on board the love boat to the land of the White Lotus?

Looking forward to the season finale Sunday...

Just now watching...just fantastic
You're going to be very excited to learn we are three episodes into season 2. You’re going to be less excited to learn it’s almost entirely a new cast/story.

Just a new endearingly obnoxious group with the just the right amount of disfunction. Coolidge, the only mainstay from the first season, is, of course, her usual psychotic mess.  Let's see how it all unfolds...

Edit:  Coolidge’s worthless partner is back as well

I'm just now watching True Detectives. This seems outstanding.

Agree about Season 2. Season 3 was watchable, but not as good as Season 1.

We worked our way through "Welcome To Wrexham" over the break and even though neither watch much Sportsball, we enjoyed this series.  And yes there is lots of Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds featured as they are the one that bought the Wrexham Football team, it's really as much about the town and team itself.  Really fun and not taking itself to seriously documentary on Hulu...

just finished season 1 of Hanna (on Prime), now on season 2 and enjoying it as much as the first.  not a new series (the trailer was an ad in the 2019 Super Bowl) but new to me.  isn't going to change your life but it's a well-made mix action and suspense and even includes some coming-of-age drama.  some beautiful scenery too.

I think the show (which i tried for an episode and couldn't get into) is based on a movie of thr same name, which i recall liking more than the show

correct

maybe you liked Saoirse Ronan better than the person who played Hanna in the TV series?  or maybe you liked the more condensed, get-to-the-pointedness of the movie?  i liked the pacing, and the detail, in the tv version better.

The Daily Show will feature guest hosts including Hasan Minhaj, Al Franken, Chelsea Handler, Kal Penn, and John Leguizamo at the anchor desk following Trevor Noah’s departure at the end of the week.

I'm pretty sure that's not prestige tv.

Will John Legumes be whining about James Franco playing Fidel Castro?
