"Sixteen Stone" and "Throwing Copper" probably sold more than any other album in this thread.  At least in America.  And probably spawned more "hit" singles, too.  "No Need to Argue" probably sold a lot too.  That was the one with "Zombie" wasn't it?   That song was huge.

Was just reading the File Under: Easy Listening chapter of Bob Mould's book today. He surprisingly wasn't crazy about how it came out and felt as though the process was rushed. I think it holds up pretty well even given the hilarious lifting of entire musical phrases from MBV; the most obvious being "Your Favorite Thing."
