I wish I'd gone to see Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros..

I also wish I had not been away on work for Belle and Sebastian at the Black Cat.. I think I even had a ticket.. that was when they were good...

regrets I've had my share...

To add an interesting anecdote here, when I was in high school there was no middle school.  Elementary school was 1-6 and high school was 7-12.  During my 6 years at high school, the band director was personal friends with Buddy Rich.  Rich came to my school every year for those six years and performed a free concert for the students.  Like a total dumb ass I never went.  This was back in the early 70s when my weekly consumption of marijuana was about ¼-½ pound counting just personal use.  I am guessing that there was a direct connection between these facts.

Buddy came to my HS often, as well as Maynard Ferguson, Woody Herman and Stan Kenton - that was 'the circuit' for those guys - one nighters in a crappy bus, too.

Beta Band (damn you Bull Run)
post-Clash Strummer (always 'next time')
Chet Baker (or maybe not)

Hell yeah.  I was lucky to catch him once in NYC on a pre mescaleros, post clash show.
But I was always like, "I should see him tonight, he's my f'n hero...but for sure he'll be through for another show."  I can only imagine those 930 shows were awesome.

TAN: The Clash is the most overrated band in history, IMHO. Awful music.

Yes, it's tangential to the topic at hand.

 :(
Fugazi-just got into them and could've easily gone to what ended up being their last fort reno show.
Smashing Pumpkins-90s version
Broadcast

 8)
RATM
The Cramps
Sonic Youth
Beastie Boys
Dag Nasty-I'll throw this one in there even though it was a one off reunion show a few years ago.
