I just listened to  Rick Rubin interview him on his podcast Broken Record (which is fantastic by the way, the Malcom Gladwell one with Flea confirmed that Flea's book is one of the best out there)

It's a fantastic interview and highly recommended
Rollins talked about going from music to spoken word tours and was like "I can fill up large theaters for sometimes multiple nights, with the singing gig, I'd be lucky if 1000 people showed up and then we'd have the whole band/entourage, just didn't make sense for what I do with my time"
Also he pretty much said that he will never do a nostalgia Black Flag/Rollins band tour
