New Frank Turner and he released one song today

There will be more announcements in the coming weeks and months - album title, release date, the first single proper, all that kind of thing. But for now I wanted to share one song with you all - to say thanks for your patience and attention, and also because I'm really fucking excited about this record. This song kind of encapsulates the sound and spirit of it. So here it is: 'Get Better'.

The new album, my sixth, will be called "POSITIVE SONGS FOR NEGATIVE PEOPLE". It's a record about survival, defiance, about picking yourself up when you're down, and the title reflects that. It came from a late night drunk conversation with an old friend, I was trying to explain what I do for a living, and, well, it just came out like that

The concert sees Hooky and The Light perform the full Joy Division catalogue in one concert for the first ever time some three and a half decades since the band ended. The set will include their two uniquely original albums ?Unknown Pleasures? and ?Closer?, as well as the final release, ?Still?and all tracks from ?An Ideal For Living?and all other output from the band?s canon.

?So This Is Permanence? is also being filmed by Surdevan Creative using their exclusive jackinabox system and footage will be made available after the event.
