so who is doing what, on new years?  im attending a lovely get together at friends.  i like doing that rather than going out someplace.

Unfortunately, DC and Baltimore get crap in terms of NYE bands to go see... I am either going to stay at home, or maybe go out to the downtown area of Annapolis to watch the fireworks (depending on how cold it is).

I've been going out for the past few years and it's gotten tiresome. Even if we hit a fun little dive bar. My friend is having a house party. So, we're gonna grab some dinner and some drinks then head back to his place. Then binge drink forever. Hopefully wake up in time for the Winter Classic.

Well, unlike any coach we've had since Moeller, he actually has a track record of producing a quality coaching tree.

I couldn't see him gone in 4 years unless he wins a National title, in which case, I don't care and we'll name a fucking building after him. I think he'll be there the entire 6-7 year contract and have a successor ready to go if he does want to jump back to the NFL (which I'm __really__ not sure he's going to do). He's not going to do his alma mater that way.

Anyone headed to the Winter Classic?

My Dad called me last night and really wants to go. I'm iffy on it. Went to it at the Big House which was one of the most amazing sports events of my life, not sure another one would touch it.

Are tickets even possible to get at this point? What would we be looking at pricewise?

Also, we have a hockey thread on the first page. Not random at all!

It wasn't intended as admonishing, it was a friendly point in the direction of the proper thread so we don't fill up the random thread unnecessarily with sports talk since there's a better thread for it (as a courtesy to the faction on the board who hates the mere thought that people on a music forum might want to discuss sports from time to time).

Also, as to my comments yesterday, we DO have a hockey thread, but NOT a college football one.
