I just don't get this stuff

if you are a vegan...then why are you eating things that are 'like' eggs?
lol gross. That cannot possibly taste good

I'll stick with bacon thank you.
I have had those and they're actually phenomenal. If you want to replicate scrambled eggs, that's spot on. (Everything by that brand is excellent aside from veganaise; they're the best vegan "cheese" by a mile.)

And to answer your question: very few vegetarians/vegans are such because they do not like the taste of meat. Some have a moral objection to the killing of animals and/or the ecological effects of farming. Others, such as myself, have stomach (or other health problems) that makes digestion of meat extremely painful. In both of those cases, meat/dairy substitutes provide a greater variety of meal choices for us.

"Vegan option" and "Tom Petty" doesn't seem like two things that go well together.

Reading comments on Facebook about "Confederate Heritage Month" being a thing in Mississippi, is both a sad and fascinating experience.

I'm not saying the forum's software is ancient, but people's profile pages have sections to list ICQ, AIM, Yahoo Messenger, and MSN messenger handles. In 2016.

Yeah, and no avatars and 5 letter sigs.

On the other hand, no advertising or pop-ups.

So do we need to start a petition to get the board upgraded?

It's based in Simple Machines Forum, which is run on BSD

I guess the question is...who is the technical admin
Is that Kosmo?

And who is in charge of technology at I.M.P.
and organization of that size has to have someone in charge of that stuff?
(if not...Seth I love my job, but would leave it if you want me to be that guy)

It's open source and probably not that hard to do some cool mods/tweeks to get more advanced look and features?
just need someone motivated and granted the access to do it
and I'm sure there is some Linux wiz would do the site for free in exchange to free entrance to 10 sold out shows a year

I hate the "If you want meat eat meat, don't be vegan and have meat substitutes" argument. I fucking love the way meat tastes, I just know eating meat at the rate we do is unsustainable, so I'm trying to do my small part by being vegan. Sorry I still like chicken, burgers, and eggs and still want to taste things like that. People get so offended by it.

That's always flummoxed me as well. I don't understand how it affects anyone else.

Our office gets bought lunch every month and my co-worker rubbed what she was ordering in my face. As if I didn't know what decision I had made and what I couldn't eat. She ate a whole rack of ribs. For lunch. And then complained about being fat. LOL

Please tell me she sees no connection between eating an entire rack of ribs for lunch and her being fat.
