so I don't doubt his money helped (also he's Canadian)...but the survival rates for that particular cancer...

so I'd say Alex was pretty damn lucky

I think you need to change your screen name to debbie downer

My dad died from pancreatic cancer. It's a rough one. We'll see how long RBG lasts. :( And I'll care more about her than Mr. Un-woke Alex:

"You know, when the #MeToo movement started, I had discussions with the staff during production meetings," he said. "I said, 'My gosh, this has got to be a scary time for men.'"

There is at least a bit of hope if the tumor is only limited to the pancreas itself.

When the tumor is only in the pancreas and doesn’t spread, the five-year survival rate is 37 percent, according to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, or PanCAN.

I was out for a run around the lake this morning and out of the corner of my eye I saw a baby squirrel in the middle of the trail, unusually close to me. It startled me and made me jump. It was startled too, and ran…right under where I was about to land. I tried to freeze myself and change direction in mid-air….but it all happened too quickly. I landed on him. He started struggling to run but couldn’t really go anywhere. He appeared to have an injured leg, pain and fear was in his eyes and blood was pouring out of his mouth. I made a quick decision to put him out of his misery. Tears came to my eyes. I can only imagine how bad my brother, who had to put down his dog earlier in the week, must feel. And F those hunters who shoot animals for sport.

I shot him full of the heroin I had in my pocket. JK. No, I put my $160 running shoes at risk and stomped and kicked him off the trail. Saddest day of my week, I need to go wash my shoes.

I'm a fat guy with extremely flat feet. Brooks Beast and Brooks Addiction are my shoes of choice. If any of you runners have an other suggestions, I'm all ears.

Scientists advised against consuming hypersexual zombie cicadas infected with psychoactive fungus.

Umm...I don't know where to go with this...but man it it a great headline

wow, the science daily topped it with this headline
'Flying salt shakers of death:' Fungal-infected 'zombie' cicadas
If cicadas made horror movies, they'd probably study the actions of their counterparts plagued by a certain psychedelic fungus.
Males try to mate with everything they encounter, although the fungus has consumed their genitals and butts.
