The concern on this board for Israel and Jews following the terrorist attacks ten days ago has been heartening.

A very unusual aspect of Israel/Palestine is that a large number of people who don’t live there passionately advocate for an outcome, secular democratic binationalism, that neither of the main Palestinian political organizations have as their stated goal.

retail in that area will just get crushed.  I honestly think they could tear the whole thing down and make money with a city block of condos

True but why not build the new arena where the old one is?

Hard to keep building the team business when you're in smaller temporary digs (EagleBank Arena? Ha!) for at least three years. No one does that except for an emergency situation; it's always moving immediately from old to new.
