It is pretty lame.  I think you get a certain dollar amount off per order.  So keep buying tickets and you will get the money we overcharged you back.  Before June 18, there will most likely be a rise in cost for "handling fees" with ticketmaster that will even out the credit.

Yes, I got it last week.  I should expect up to a maximum of 17 codes, which I'm certain I will qualify for without a problem.

same here.  the period covered by this suit corresponds with my peak in concert attendance.  17 total?  i did more than that per year.

so you can't combine all the codes into one to get a free ticket? that does not do much for me then...

There's a bit of a rub here.  If not enough people use their codes to total $10.5 million, then some folks will get 2 free tickets to a LiveNation event.  Of course, who knows if that means you get two free tickets to a show you actually want to see or not.

I haven't read the full decision, but I will use some, but not all of my codes to hedge my bets.

Apparently, there are discounts for UPS fees they charged as well.

You?re one of 50 million people eligible to get yours from the loathed ticket giant. Starting June 18, your Ticketmaster account might sprout one or more of the following:

- A discount code for each Ticketmaster purchase you made between Oct. 21, 1999, and Feb. 27, 2013 ($2.25 off future purchases)

- A UPS discount code for each Ticketmaster purchase you had shipped with UPS in that time period (worth $5 off future purchases)

 - A ticket code for each of those purchases, redeemable for two free tickets to concerts at venues operated by Live Nation (which bought Ticketmaster in 2009)?if, that is, class members don?t redeem enough discount codes

EDIT:

Per the FAQ, you can use up to two codes per transaction.  You have until June of 2020 to use your codes.

You don't need it.  The codes will appear in your TM online account.

I got 17 of these, which I'm pretty sure entitles me to see Nickelback at Jiffy Lube Live 17 times.
