I'm seriously considering purchasing tickets tomorrow now that the lineup and price is out there. Anyone else joining Julian in this adventure into the belly of the beast (aka Texas)?

My main question that I'm wanting people to weigh in on is the two-day package or go in to the Friday after-party. I'm stunned how cheaply I can fly there and get in. Just trying to negotiate some details with others re: what departure city and the Friday situation.

Also I'm not clear if Bjork is there with multiple "lighting" sets or it's a hologram. She's DJing the Friday party. How do you all understand what "Bjork (multiple digital sets)" means?

I would skip that and only get the Saturday/Sunday ticket.

General Admission + Friday Night Party tickets give access to the festival as well as to a Friday night event hosted by Run The Jewels' Killer Mike with a live DJ set by Bjrk, DJ Windows 98 (Win Butler from Arcade Fire), Kam Franklin and Lightwheel, as well as speaking panels, artist meet and greets and complimentary beverages and light bites. General Admission + Friday Night Party tickets will start at $250.

Festival founder Omar Afra told the Daily Dot in an email that the hologram will be 72 feet tall and about 34 inches wide. He said Day for Night decided to include Harambe after his agent contacted them and made the pitch.

Digital sets probably means she will be performing her music through all digital means; ie synths or drum machines or software like Ableton Live... And will not be using acoustic drums or stringed instruments or horns etc.

i also assume this means that her show will have a heavy digital visual component.  she's got a VR/digital art installation in london, maybe some of that will be incorporated?
