It is funny to me how post BOCC, Pheobe inherited the trademark "Bright Eyes horn parts". It was such a stereotypical thing he did and now its on like three songs on her newest and mixed so close to the front on the closing track.

have to say it was a real bummer that 2020 killed the Bright Eyes/Lucy Dacus tour

PreOrdered the vinyl of King Khan and the Infinite
releases October 30, 2020

Soulful garage rocker King Khan is getting into jazz and will release new album The Inifite Ones on October 30 via Ernest Jenning Record Co. The album features Sun Ra Arkestra's Marshall Allen and Knoel Scott, and Calexico's John Convertino and Martin Wenk. You can still tell it's a King Khan record, though, on the skronky and groovy "Wait Till the Stars Burn."

As has been the case for decades of new Springsteen this does nothing for me...

Probably the only thing I really like on it is the sound of Roy Bittan’s piano and maybe maybe Max’s drumming a bit...just cause they remind me of better days

The song has no real hook

New Shame single (Alphabet) released and new Springsteen single (Letter to You) released as well.
And new Idles album (Ultra Mono) should be coming out this month Sept 25th - although a few singles from album already out.

Idles in heavy rotation in this house.

It’s been almost 20 years since Midnight Oil unveiled a new longform release. That wait will finally be over on October 30 when their seven song mini-album, THE MAKARRATA PROJECT

Their show at the Fillmore a few years ago was outstanding.  I still can't believe I couldn't give a free ticket away to that
