so do we start a death pool for AMC theaters?

AMC Theater CEO Adam Aron says their cinemas won't require masks upon reopening because they didn't "want to be drawn into a political controversy"

AMC is already in serious financial trouble thanks to the pandemic.  there has been talk of their bankruptcy for weeks now.  they may well have nailed shut their own coffin with this.

“It really does feel like the U.S. has given up,” said Siouxsie Wiles, an infectious-diseases specialist at the University of Auckland in New Zealand

AMC Theaters on Friday reversed course and announced it will require guests to wear masks. The movie theater chain’s president had drawn backlash a day earlier for saying moviegoers wouldn’t be mandated to wear masks because “we did not want to be drawn into a political controversy.”

Those Alien ones are great!

Looking for something extra safe and comfortable
that is a tall order, you get to pick one

I just ordered one of these from the boardshort company https://www.birdwell.com/

For each mask you purchase, a mask will be donated to CORE, a non-profit founded by Sean Penn working in partnership with the LA Mayor’s Office and the LA Fire Department to provide free drive-through testing for high-risk individuals.

So feel a little better about the purchase because of that.

I'll let you know how it works out, but looks a lot nicer than most I've seen

My much better half is a Tom Binn bag enthusiast and she got a couple of their masks when they shifted production to them. They are the ones I usually wear... Made in Seattle
