for hutch: Leland Sklar has been doing play-alongs of Phil Collins tracks he's on, and sharing stories.  he plays along to rehearsal (live) tracks, pretty cool.

I am not sure where stuff about concert industry ought to go but

Talking about contingency plans looks like Live Nation has made moves

whoa...looks like the might weather this storm
Live Nation says its total cash and cash equivalents balance is $3.3 billion, including $914 million free cash and $2.0 billion of event-related deferred revenue.
would suck to burn through all that tho...
although they still have 14 million tix postponed...not canceled.(only 1 mil were canceled/refunded so far)

gotta imagine if those are canceled, the math gets different fast

Josh Ritter performing "The Animal Years" from top to bottom to celebrate it's 14th birthday tonight at 7pm. A perfect album IMO.

Regarding refunds new TM statement

http://www.brooklynvegan.com/ticketmaster-shares-new-statement-about-refund-policy/

The New York Times showed two screencaps of Ticketmaster’s refund site, one from March 13 reading “Refunds are available if your event is postponed, rescheduled, or canceled,” and another from March 14, where that sentence was changed to “Refunds are available if your event is canceled.”

Jeff played a great version of UT’s Gun  on the Tweedy family hour last night.  Hadn’t heard that one in eons.
