or maybe it was because of the trump tweet: "don't tell us how to do our jobs.  we won't put our people at risk to support your false, self-serving narrative."

so now PJ is getting on on the rebroadcast-for-pay-per-view thing.  $15 for an HD stream of one of their famous "home shows".

Step back in time to August 8, 2018 and experience the first night of The Home Shows in its global premiere.

This show was not only the band’s first time playing at home in Seattle in almost a decade but also raised nearly $11 million for 100 organizations working to reduce homelessness in Seattle and King County. Immerse yourself in remastered audio and high definition visuals with Pearl Jam’s first rebroadcast event prepared especially for home-viewing.

The full length concert, hosted through Nugs.net, will air Friday, September 4th at 5PM PT and will be available for on demand streaming through Monday, September 7th at 11:59 PT. A portion of each ticket will support the ongoing work with non-profit partners from The Home Shows.

The problem nobody talks about are the numbers

I mean how many people can fit in those pods? Enough to make which shows economically viable?

I know, to set up each pod probably cost $500 a pop (that's on the low end) and probably 2 hours labor just to set up 1

20% capacity

are we ready to spend $750 a pod to see a show from 150 yards away

the pods hold up to 5 people and supposed to only family members in each od

my guess it's a per pod cost to attend and pods are more expensive the closer you are to the stage and I believe this was setup to be "permanent" so they probably cover the pods after the shows..

I’m down with this. My own luxury pod with extra space right up front where my disposable income protects me from the prying eyes of the proletariat is Julian’s Concertgoing America.

I'm shocked that Bruce isn't first on this list... and how thinks to invite HR to something like this?
