My dudes! Guys, Gals and Non-binary Pals - our influence is unmistakable. We’ve moved the needle in ways that our brethren and sisthren on the outside will never know or appreciate. But we don’t do what we do for attention or credit. Nay, we don’t even aim to profit, but merely to raise the zeitgeistastic awareness and to elevate the experience of the common man simply by wafting through our crowded shared universe.

This is an enormous accomplishment that we might all cite on our tubertastic CVs as we spread the gospel of the root, the mash and the eye.

It may be a fair bit before I am able to personally witness the glory of our efforts. I do hope in time to hear from each of you, your reflections and reviews on this, the manifestation of what we’ve always known and believed.

And heretoforth and hence coming, I shall plead, oblate and demise myself upon the rock that is and has always been the glory of the Seth for the recognition upon which he hath bestoweth the potato adjacent denizens of this beloved and holy forum. We have become bonded and bound under this first step of fried potato domination.

Let us connect in our common purpose as we go forth into the world and greet as we frite - we shall not retreat but repeat!

It would also be great to get y’know, like a free small fry once a month or something for everyone who has commented here. Seth?

Potatoes rock.

I think I saw someone holding a cone or container of fries inside the anthem tonight but was busy and couldn’t scope it out. I was too far to smell them too.

My apologies

The potato has a lot of explaining to do

According to one study, the introduction of the potato from the Americas accounted for about a quarter of the population growth in the Old World between 1700 and 1900.

Science Reveals the Surprising Origins of the Potato

Potatoes as we know them today are the product of a hybridization that took place 9 million years ago between two plants, one of which was an ancestor of the tomato

George Conway has something to say about this
Just want to Lay out this word to the Wise:   No ifs ands or Utz, this is crisply written and reported, but for all its saltiness it's still just a story about small potatoes with no evidence of a chip pro quo, and no one should get too Ruffled up about it.
