Robert Palmer, has been sentenced to over 5 years in prison for attacking police on January 6th -- the longest sentence so far

And here I thought he died a while back, guess no power station reunion tour until 2026

had no idea!
But in all honesty 1999 hatch probably would have skipped, would definitely go today if he was still with us

Nothing on set list.fm on the 9:30 date, curious if it was even well attended?

they have a set from the next night

He toured like crazy in 1999 dies of a heart attack in 2003

he didn't do Looking for Clues, which would have tied in well with this thread.

I love Palmer…he cut some great records including with the Meters and Little Feat as his band…dude had impeccable taste and was a great interpreter…unfortunately people looking for clues get hung up on Addicted to love video etc

Dude lived an interesting life…lots of crazy rumors about him and princess Di

I'm sure they'll be tens strong. Easily recognized as the maskless loaves of Wonder Bread asking how to buy a Metro card.

I can't believe it's almost one year has passed since this national disgrace
what is even worse is the GQP's attitude about it in general, lock step, follow the leader almost across the board
Its great that some of the doufus's got some hard time, but the organizers and instigators have yet to face trial

What sucks even more is this has been dragged out to the point where the dems go "well we don't want this to go into the 2022 elections, so we fold"

this was never on my bingo card: Liz Cheney, savior of US democracy

Bill Kristol@BillKristol
I think it's nice that Trump wants to commemorate his being silent and missing in action for 187 minutes last January 6, by going silent this January 6.

They need to get this shit wrapped up before the midterms since it’s inevitable the GQP will win the house and shutdown the committee.

Sickens me everyday that the party tries to whitewash this when it was probably our country’s darkest day since 9/11. But yeah, I’m digging Liz Cheney’s face turn.

Agree but they will probably wait to release report closer to midterms

Not saying they should…don’t really know

Now New York I just don’t know what they are doing….

I remain pessimistic any of this will amount to anything or move the needle.

The judiciary and legislative branches seem pretty powerless to do much of anything with respect to Trump.

Our republic’s best hope remains that Trump drops dead because otherwise he seems predestined to take over and finish destroying what’s left…. The average American doesn’t seem to care…
