So 520,000 requests for 20,000 tickets = you're not fucking going to any of the shows.

Yeah, between a quarter to a half of the shows will still have tickets available after this week.

It would be interesting to hear how many different people sent entries in, and the breakdown in how many per band, and how many first preference, second preference, third preference, etc. each band received. I know, I'm weird like that.

And are tehy going to tell us when they are doing which shows, or are we just going to have to rely word of mouth?

100% completely wrong. I'd bet my pair of Foo Fighter tickets on this. Every show will be sold out.

We'll see. If you're right, kudos for a great marketing strategy with the little lottery game, goosing people to enter a lottery for shows they might not be instantly buying tickets to the second they go on sale.

Fair. I think there is extra demand for big draws in tiny spaces with tiny prices. And the cache of going to the opening run of a brand new venue. I'm not sure anyone is being goosed here. There's a bunch of bands on that list I've always meant to see, but either the venue wasn't right or the price was too high. Gary Clark Jr is a good example of that, at least for me.

So they're sending out ticket confirmations to the people who "won" starting today, then a summary to everyone of all your hits and misses on Thursday.

Any hits so far?
