I'm going to post these in batches, otherwise I'll get bogged down. These are from some of my favorite bands/artists and part of my collection. Trying to do these from my gut, thus not at all trying to rank them which will just really slow down the process for me.  With that said what's in this first batch are favorite albums from the top of my head, which if were ranked would all be near the top.

1.   Ash - Free All Angels
2.   Bad Religion - Stranger Than Fiction
3.   Big Star = #1 Record / Radio City
4.   The Bongos - Beat Hotel
5.   Calibro 35 - S.P.A.C.E.
6.   Cotton Mather - Kontiki
7.   The Delgados - Hate
8.   Guns and Roses - Appetite For Destruction
9.   Gruff Rhys - Pang
10.    Gwenno - Le Kov
11.   The Feeling - Twelve Stops From Home
12.   James - Living In Extraordinary Times
13.   Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American
14.   Kacey Musgraves = Same Trailer Different Park
15.   Lloyd Cole & The Commotions - Rattlesnakes
16.   Love - Forever Changes
17.   Ocean Colour Scene - Mechnical Wonder
18.   Paul Weller - Stanley Road
19.   Prefab Sprout - Steve McQueen
20.   The Red Button - She's About To  Cross My Mind
21.   Rocket From The Crypt - Scream Dracula Scream
22.   Sloan - Twice Removed

I'm going to say FF thinks
3, 8 and 24 are the only three that make top 100...
although if only one would be #3

If it's the GNR record... I have vivid memories of reading a review of the album in Spin... can't remember the actual number of stars possibly 5/5 or 9 out of 10... instantly ran out to a local Harmony House and bought the thing, brought it home and plopped on the turntable and was hit in the face with those massive guitars...

That one will always have a place

The Stone Roses and Big Star are fantastic but I overdosed on them years ago

I’m more surprised by the Jimmy Eat World than the GNR, personally.

There are a couple of British bands  I have heard of that didn’t make his first cut….assume they will be in subsequent releases

Remember my list is being created from the heart based on albums I'm very familiar and have some significance to me.  I will not be buying a 3K pair of cans in order to evaluate Billie Eilish or Steven Wilson albums aka man cave audio releases. No where on my list will you see Rumours or Pet Sounds, although might give Tusk a listen.  There will no listening at all to Steely Dan, got to have some principals.

List will not be as diverse as it could be, I am very much a creature of habit.  I'm currently stumbling a bit on who to handle artists like Otis Redding or The Temptations as they were truly at their best  releasing singles and I can't point to a record I would chose for them.

Finally, it's highly likely The Hives - The Death Of Randy Fitzsimmons will make the last, because as the kids say "It Slaps" just bangers after bangers.  Plus, of course The Hives will not dispute that claim...

can confirm, was kind of a slow burn for me and really wasn't digging it that much the first few listens
but honestly it might be one of their best releases

Aeroplane / NMH belongs on somebody's list, but perhaps not on Kosmo's list.
