   so yeah, scalpers lose out sometimes for sure. and this could be one of those times. whos opening for them anyway?

i'm tempted just to go to the show because i know that might be the cheapest way to get tickets, day of the show at the venue you can haggle, maybe even after doors open tickets will drop easily.

my follow up story to this is that i once saw RHCP/Foo Fighters/Blonde Redhead in Providence and we didnt have tickets...waited til BR went on and finally this one scalper gave us 3 tickets for $20!!!! (this was actually the month after i lost out on the Pumpkins show)

   what i have offered in this thread has been my own personal experience, not a notion or view, and the facts are most certainly not misconstrued.

when i said terrible, i meant off base.  incorrect.  ignorant.  untrue.  
 
 not negative.  people who can't get tickets to a show they want to see and see other people selling them are allowed to be upset and negative.  but that doesn't mean you're allowed to be ignorant.

whos being ignorant here?  i am not sure what you are talking about.  perhaps you posted this in the wrong thread.

i saw RHCP once and they all came out wearing only one strategically placed tube sock each.    Missed out on rendition of "owner of a lonely boner" they did on early small club tours... Did I just really date myself?

Kosmo, was this at the Ontario Theater with General Public? I seem to remember the socks. I also remember Anthony K saying something like, "The English Beat aren't even going to play Mirror in the Bathroom" as he walked off stage.

Nope it was St. Andrews in Detroit... It was right after "Freaky Styley" came out and the band had fond memories of recording it in Motown with George Clinton.  A couple member of P. Funk came out to share in vocals at one point...

So this thread has sort of been side tracked... Does anyone have a better idea of whether or not they will be there, and if so when, and how do you get tickets?
