Quite boring weekend...might only hit Black Lips, unless there's other shows I don't know about??

Yup...same night as Black Lips. Although, it is an early show so both are doable.

Headed to Ready Already at The Red and The Black Friday night to dance.

Saturday - Charm City Roller Girl All Stars host the Rocky Mountain Roller Girls at the 5th Regiment Armory, 7 p.m. I'll be there slinging PBR and cheering on my girls. It's $8. You should come say hi and get your derby education before coming to watch yours truly  ;)

Fri - I may hit the Black Cat, since it's a bunch of bands for free.
 Sat - Bob Mould/Blowoff
 Sun - sleep all day

My wife's uncle is stopping by Sunday and we're watching racing.

I wonder if he's heard the word that Lou Reed is buff.

friday: take train home, play with new keyboard
saturday: go to gym, play with keyboard, unpack/repack
sunday: fly to chicago first thing in the morning, visit mom who just had surgery, get ready for week of training.

no music (at least not live, by professionals)

the hounds of hasselvander/revelation show tonight is going to be awesome. bobby liebling of pentagram is going to join them to perform some classic pentagram songs, barring a total meltdown. gary isom, one of the best drummers in town (spirit caravan/unorthodox/valkyrie/nitroseed/iron man), drums for them. revelation is playing their first dc show in years.

anybody into doom/psych metal should be there (i.e., those who love sabbath, blue cheer, zeppelin, priest, maiden, ufo, thin lizzy, deep purple, monster magnet, high on fire, boris, etc).

What's the deal with Pela? Feel like I heard nice things about them, but the album is kinda meh.

Black Lips played well but (indie show bingo time!) the sound where I was (back by the board) left a lot to be desired.
