i think setanta in the states only has games a couple times a month from the fizzy pop. all of these switches would be until newcastle made it back up, because i just couldnt deal with rooting for arsenal or something for 9 months

speaking of the toon, at least a point from brum on monday is needed. bolton has the worst of the fixtures going forward so we need to just get points where we can. i think even 8 would do it. we just cant flipping score

would munster bring less tears? roma would be my serie a team (closest to my maternal side's roots). at least they make the champions league    :(

The last year we spent in Cork Munster won the Heineken trophy, which is a European contest so pretty darn good. I think the following season they struggled, like most franchises in any sport seem to do after a great season. I'm not sure how they're doing this season to be honest as it's hard to keep track.

If you follow Munster you will have to learn to dislike Leinster, which is the province Dublin is in. There's not really 'hate' in rugby like there is in football because there's too much respect between teams. It's a healthy rivalry in rugby and a great atmosphere drinking in the pubs with your rival fans and singing along together before the game, then back in the pub and repeat the process after the game regardless of the result.

Munster are good, certainly the most successful Irish province of the last 30 years....won the European Cup, beat the All Blacks in 77 etc etc....

bonkers given the recent history between your lot and the roma ultras. i figured youd be either excited to stick it to them or angry at the prospect of more violence

id say barca or arse would be a tougher draw, though

Oh I'm sure the Italian polizia will beat the shit out of the United fans just for the hell of it, then the media report about the English soccer hooligans. You know, the usual stuff.

As for the Roma Ultra's...nothing will be mentioned about them as per.

No comment.  I once saw a draw where United got Porto and I was very excited.  We all know how that turned out.

Yeah....I remember that one, it was probably the weakest squad United have had in a long time though.
