i'll miss hearing him called 'the fine china'

its funny, when the window opened, spurs were linked to every player under the sun and even landed modric. all the toon fans were all 'spurs are beating us to EVERYTHING'

now they're selling like 8 players including their two best players. haha

 And Makelele too apparently.
Makalele went to PSG

I'm telling you...there's more than meets the eye as to what's going on at Stamford Bridge. A team that were runners up in the EPL and CL don't have players trying to get out for no reason.

Do you know of a max exodus at the Emirates or Old Trafford? We have the Ronaldo fiasco but I think that's more a publicity stunt than anything else. Scum have some major insecurities with the owners issue, but even they aren't having transfer requests submitted. Crouch only went so he could get playing time.

I give it three more years before chelskzzzzzz implode and become the next Leeds United.

Didn't arse want rid of flamini and hleb...not so much adebayor but one is not an exodus.

they'd been trying to resign flamini all last season and hleb kind of forced his way out

i agree that chelzzzz are in deep shit without their oil baron, and i agree that nothing good can come of that team long term. the way they run their team is not self-sustaining even in the sense of the rest of the big 4. id say arsenal have the bigger immediate issues though. losing a 35 year-old out of a loaded midfield isnt nearly as bad as losing half of your starting midfield and your best scorer. if you listen to wenger its not going to get much better for the fiscally either

and of course if you sack rafa, there would be a spanish march out of scouseville too

Which is amazing considering that was the whole  point of tearing down Highbury and building the new stadium.

Wenger seems to be the only manager who's given money but never spends it!

The Halo's are off today, so I'm recording the MLS All-star game.

Work case scenario, one team wins 1-0.

Best case scenario, the Hammer Fans start a riot in Toronto.  Right?

"We just went over for some tea and crumpets, and the Crew fans got mad."

..."On the list of unwanted gifts from Europe," he concluded, "this ranks somewhere between Ace of Base and smallpox."

Don't the doodles realize that hooliganism at football matches is faux pas these days?

This got a chuckle from me though.

"According to Ohio police, the showdown was between 100 Columbus supporters and 30 West Ham fans. Talk about Light Brigade statistics. Columbus never stood a chance."

Friedel will most likely go to Villa now.
