I think Chelski would be an easier game if United make it past Milan, but I think a United v Liverpool final would be one for the history books. Plus, Morono is a twat!!

Don't you just hate penalties though? Such an anti-climax to an all important game.

Still glad chelski are OUT Can't wait to hear what morono will blame it on this time.

He is a loser. He will never accept that other teams may be better than his own team. So glad to see them out of the Champions League.

 Mourinho believes Blues were best

Manager Jose Mourinho felt Chelsea did not deserve their penalty shoot-out defeat against Liverpool in the Champions League semi-final.

The Londoners were beaten 4-1 on spot-kicks after Liverpool cancelled out Chelsea's 1-0 first-leg lead.

"It is a moment when everybody has to be strong," he said. "My players have a lot of reasons to be proud.

"We were the best team today, even against a team only playing for the Champions League."

He added: "In extra-time we were the only team who tried to win, but football is like that and the penalty shoot-out is part of the game.

"My players did a great run in the Champions League."

Mourinho also denied that his pre-match spat with Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez helped inspire Liverpool to victory.

He added: "I respected Liverpool always in my words. I don't need to say more and today I think the best team was Chelsea."

GREAT NEWS EVERYONE....It's half time and the United team bus has just pulled in the San Siro car park. We might have a game in the second half!

Well, the better team won and they didn't have to pay the ref off for this one....pretty ironic to say they shouldn't even be in the competition with all the corruption they're guilty of.

I hope they destroy scum like they just destroyed United.

Vidic (clearly not match fit) and Heinze looked like they hadn't played together years, and come to think of it, they might not have given their injury history.

United's offensive struggles in Milan continue, but that shouldn't take away from what was a gloriuos performance by Kaka and Gattusso.  They deserve to go to Athens.

Doesn't make me any happier about the outcome, but after watching yesterday's snoozer, it's hard to swallow.

Very interesting Champions League. Milan played very badly at the beginning of the season and even had to go to extra time with Celtic in the last sixteen. Liverpool I believe had a bad moment during the season when they lost some games with Arsenal pretty badly.  But once both teams eliminated with some authority Barcelona and Bayern Munich, they showed that they are the strongest teams in Europe. I especially respect Liverpool, only Gerrard is considered among the best players of the world, but they somehow manage to be the most respected team in Europe.

Not intending to take anything away from Liverpool, but Gerrard is not one of the best players in the world....he's a good player on a team of average players so shines with Liverpool. When Gerrard is on the England squad he's merely an also-ran.

Benitez is a class act and deserves all the credit for getting them to the final again.

One of most annoying quotes from morono, and believe me there's many to choose from, is when he referred to Liverpool as a 'small team'...Liverpool are a huge team, and like United fill the stadium regardless of their success on the field, his own team are merely minnows and can't even fill their shanty-town shack of a stadium no matter what.

I've gone from finding him amusing to wanting to ram my fist so far down his throat he'd shit my elbow.
