I'll most certainly be watching the now meaningless game on Wednesday if only to see the guard of honour chelski will give the Premiership Champions when they run out on to the field at Stamford Bridge!!!!    :D      :D

Life is good, I am very confident of us winning the double.

BTW....How about Roy Keane and his Black Cats miracle?....and another ex-United player winning automatic promotion with Birminghan?

Just getting warmed up to take over for Fergie when he's ready to step down...he was always a brilliant football mind, just had a bit of temper.

I think if he went to the magpies they'd have to clean house of all those nancy-boys up there, because they just won't fit in with his 'thugball' style. Shitty already have a bunch of thugs in place. Newcastle would be a bigger draw with a man of his ego though.

I don't think Fergie will be ready to retire in three. He's building a new dynasty at Old Trafford and will want to enjoy the fruits of his labor for a couple of years. Ideally, Keane could start as the assistant manager but I don't think those two could work together again, although Quinn and Keane figured it out so anythings possible.

As for Newcastle, apart from Shearer I have great respect for the club and it's fans, and they deserve a great team. Other teams I consider 'big teams' are Wolves (without McCarthy of course) West Ham and Sunderland. Leeds can go to hell as far as I'm concerned. Their *ahem* fans are a disgrace.

from the man himself......

And while he confirmed he will not still be in charge by the time he reaches his 70th birthday, at 65 the Glaswegian still has the fire to fight a few more battles yet.

'Age creeps up on you,' he smiled. 'I still think of myself as being in my 50s. All of a sudden you read in the paper you are 65 and think 'that can't be right'.

'I don't see any dramatic changes in myself from five or six years ago, although there must be some.

'I will not carry on until I am 70 but I have enjoyed this season.'

Oasis frontman and ardent Man City fan Noel Gallagher was left fuming when Primal Scream bassist and ardent Man Utd fan Mani phoned from a packed pub and got all the locals to sing 'champions, champions' down the line. (Daily Star)
