I'm surprised that anybody splashed the cash on him. He should be playing in the Championship in my opinion. Nothing personal...I just don't rate him as a player.

Steven Pienaar poised to move from Everton to Tottenham.....

...and the rot continues at Stamford Bridge! They can't even attract mediocre players in the twilight of their careers anymore, even with that truckload 'o' money.

Agreed, the Two Escobars is incredible.  Even non soccer fans I've recommended it to thought it was incredible.

That Bent number is ridiculous.

Babel to The Hoff(enheim) have me a bit worried that Suarez is going to L'Pool.  I think Suarez is good, and I'm torn between that move and seeing him move to White Hart Lane.

Oh, and Vidic is a GIANT.

the suarez rumor is kind of interesting to me. ajax says its going to take a ton of cash and the player says he wants to win

i dont see 'pool looking to drop £20m+ on one player or winning anything this year. seems like an odd fit

I can't see any world class player wanting to go to Anfield at the moment. They are in such disarray and have no chance of Champions League next season. It will take a manager 5 years to clean up the spanish waiter's mess. Hodgson should've been given at least a year to see were he was going with it. I can't believe that the Kop are dictating who becomes manager.  Which is basically what's happening. Hodgson is only gone because the stupid fans didn't take a shine to him. The fans were beginning to turn on Fergie all those years ago, and look how that ended up?

How do you like this rumour?....Arry and Becks the next management team for England??? I think it might just work if Beckham wants to go the managerial route, which he has already said he doesn't but you never know.

I think Beck's thoughts on coaching changed dramatically when he couldn't play in the WC and sat on the bench next to Capello.  He's not going to be the best tactician, but he ha s good read of the game and the players.
