Arshavin, aka "our-Sharon". Reminds me of Tom Cruise with highlights.

That works too...but if you say "Our Sharon" with a manc accent it's pretty close;
'AR' 'SHA'-'RIN'

Man Utd v Crawley - What team do you think SAF will field? I'm guessing pretty strong after going out to Leeds last season. Or at least have some heavy-hitters on the bench.

I don't get that philosophy that most teams practice. They play with a weakened team with strength on the bench in case they need it. Why not start strong then get a couple of goals ahead then pull off your top players and put on the younger kids to keep the lead. It's easier to keep a lead rather than chase the game don't you think?

What an absolute load of bollocks! If you had just landed from another planet you would  not know who were the current premiership leaders and who were the non-league team. I mean, seriously........

A fucking foul throw by Rooney? That summed it up really. When was the last time you saw a throw called back at that level?

If Obertan and Bebe are what United are putting out on the field these days I'm polishing up my boots because there's still hope for my boyhood dream to come true!!!! Hopefully we can offload them to Madrid or Shitty because they seem to like our rejects.

On the other hand.....Congratulations to the pride of merseyside for dumping chelski....at the hand (or should that be foot) of an ex-United player!

Quite surprised to see Birmingham beat Arsenal. I think it may be feasible now to beat Arsenal in Barcelona, but difficult. Will Walcott and Fabregas be back in the team for the return leg?

I thnk Arse's season will fizzle out now. They are a delicate team so losing to Brum will have a psychological effect. Barca could very well beat them now.

On a somewhat related note (Arse/Barca) I took my son down to Ft. Lauderdale on Saturday to watch a pre-season game. Ft. Lauderdale Strikers V NY Redbulls (yep! I didn't know there was a pro-team in Lauderdale either. NASL or something) Anyway, Thiery Henry played the whole game and spent a long time talking to kids, signing autographs and having his photo taken with them. A real class act and made my sons day

yeah my brother in law is a red bull season ticket holder. nothing but good things to say about henry

selfishly the brum win was bad, but good for them none the less

at least pardew wont be tempted to start ryan taylor the rest of the season. two points needlessly dropped

I still think Obertain can turn the corner, but I'm starting to have my doubts.

Bebe, on the other hand, is completely useless.  I am more than capable of doing what he did - and that was against Crawley!
