The best place for atmosphere is The Crown and Anchor, about 3-4 blocks off the strip on Tropicana.

I've also stumbled out of Sugars at 4am to watch a match and saw it at McMullans.  It's a nicer place, but not the same atmosphere.  It's across from the Orleans, also on Tropicana.

The last two times I've been there, the matches have been on in the sportsbook, despite the book being closed.

Sweet Jayzus - they do make it exciting don't they?

I would say our march through Europe continues but it's more of a limp at the moment.

If you didn't spend the last 10 minutes of the match thinking all about last year, you're a better man than me.

The Bayern-Inter match was highly entertaining all the way through out. As I told shoeshine, I'd pay 35m pounds for Sneidjer, and that's just for sex!

I  had visions of Porto 2009 all over again.

35M for sex with Sneidjer? I bet you could get him for 10M...... the other 25M would be to get him at OT!!!!

So does Robson......

I'm not surprised at the SAF ban - FA based in London. 10 games +- to end of season. Arse on coat tales of United. Fergie gets lengthy ban....coincidence?

Fergie was on probation with a suspended 2-3 game ban pending good behaviour.  I'm not surprised at all that he got 5 games (previous suspension plus new games).

What sucks is that that comments were made to United's own closed TV network - MUTV - talk about shooting yourself in the foot!

Not when it comes to the FA Shoeshine - FA = London clubs only.

I think managers should be able to criticize officials as long as it's not a personal attack. When he called one ref too fat to officiate at this level he crossed the line. I don't find anything wrong with his comments about Atkinson. It was his opinion and he expressed them in a professional manner, AND you had to visit manutd.com to hear them initially. Everyone who saw the game that is not a chelski fan knows it was also the truth. I can't recall another game where an official has been so biased in favor of one team over another.

And they wonder why SAF won't talk to the media.

Here's another lame-arse misconduct charge. Some refs and the FA need to grow a pair and man-up...

You are missing one very important detail - Two northern teams so the FA couldn't give a toss.

if newcastle took from bolton or vice versa, they'd bring the hammer down. if 'pool took from wet spam they'd still skate
