Okay...so I just saw the United v Stoke game last night.
A pk and red card to Woodgate in the first 5 minutes and a couple of yellows thrown in by minute 11. What were Stoke thinking? If you can't beat them break their legs?
The handball shout in the second half was indeed a penalty if following the laws of the game (deliberate or arm not in a natural position) his arm was not in a natural position. I can see a ref not giving that call though.
All that being said, United had no shape and completely out of sync, which I think Stoke should get credit for. As for Crouch, he commits a foul every single time he goes in for a challenge but I think the officials cut him some slack because he's so lanky and awkward.
I also saw that bogus pk to Villa, I bet that ref is working league two next week. None of the fans or players called for a pk.
