The Beta Band
 
 
 Whatever happened to Steve Mason anyway? Last I heard, he was a couple days from starting a tour with his project King Biscuit Time (who put out an above average album a few months ago) and just vanished without a trace.

Portishead put 2 new tracks up on their myspace last week. They sound like they're probably demos but it's something. I think it's safe to say they're still around.
