Dylan 4/2 @ 930
« on: March 30, 2004, 11:42:00 pm »
i know there's another thread, sort of, on this, but i saw this on a Dylan website---says ticket are going on sale at the 930 box office at 10 AM on 4/2.

 http://my.execpc.com/~billp61/dates.html#0402

it also initially said there would be a pre-sale at bobdylan.com on 4/1, but that seems to taken down now.

sorry if i'm blowing 930's cover on this, but this seems to be the worst-kept secret out there...

You think we're looking at $75 tickets?

My coworker is incredibly excited about this...thanks for posting the info. I'm not a huge Dylan fan, but can appreciate his as a musician and songwriter. If anything, you have to love PJ Harvey's cover of Highway 61!  :)

6 years ago is still this decade..right? According to another board member what you saw is his best performance in decades.

I believe my words were "his shows in recent years have been the best in two decades."  Meaning that there have been numerous bad shows in the last two decades but that they have recently become much stronger.

Of course, I'm sure you've seen him numerous times over the last 20 years and are basing your opinions on experience.  Or, perhaps you are merely speaking out your ass, per usual?

I'm still holding out for the Beastie Boys... which was the first rumor going around, way before Dylan was mentioned!

Actually, I'd prefer this too. But only because I already have Warner tix for Dylan.

I wouldn't want to see either live, but there is something funny about preferring a joke band like the Beastie boys to a serious, important artist like Dylan.

Sorry, skonster, they're sold out of $20 cheap seats now and it looks like a total sellout for tomorrow...
