What do you think the chances are of there being a second night added at some point?

Given how many of my friends want to go to this thing, I would say that a second and maybe third show would all go like hotcakes. But my guess is that one is up to the band.

I believe the size of the picture might be really big, but it is a great picture that not too many people expected to see a few years ago. As for the setlist and other pictures, you can find it at www.curitibapopfestival.com Some of the song names might be incomplete, but you can get an idea.

 Bone Machine

I also thought it was a great picture. It was a great show. Incredible to see how popular they are in Brazil. Big sections in papers in Rio, Sao Paulo and Curitiba, they received a very nice press treatment.

If this was a perfect world - 10 shows at Warner Theater.

DAR - location is good, sound has and always will be bad that place.

 That's my .02

No, in a perfect world, the Pixies would be playing multiple concerts at the 9:30 Club. Warner's nicer than the DAR, but you still have seating.

To summarize the DAR: sound is bad and always will be bad; any kind of seating is bad for rock concerts in general; location is good though, relatively convenient.

Have any of you actually seen the Pixies live?

Wouldn't it be a shame if their show sucked? Or have you already made up your mind that it will be good?

i saw them.  but there's no way i'm stepping foot in constitution hall.  i loathe that place.
i'd travel 1000 miles for a show before i'd go to a show there.

Does it pay well, being a buzzkill? You're fantastic at it, btw.

Did someone fart in the place or something?

After being in the smoke infested Recher Theater Friday night (from which we had to leave early to prevent my date from puking), I'd have to say I'd take DAR over just about any smokey club.
