In other words, technically this chat forum is a reflection of the club, if new people come in here and get abused, why won't they think that it could happen at the actual club. Sounds like they are covering their asses and keeping/attracting new customers.

what's your definition of  dull?  There might be an influx of new people, new views, and perhaps - a thread about music again...maybe people like Tom Servo and Dr. Doom might come back more often, and muschi and walkonby can roam free!  That my "unctious" pov.

Hey, did anybody catch Mike doughty last night? Man, he keeps getting better and better since forging an alliance with Dave Matthews.

Anybody going to see the Bodeans? Boy, if there's a band that ever exemplified the spirit of how exhilirating Americana music is, the Bodeans sure as heck are the band the gets the job done.

Too bad about Eddie From Ohio cancelling, eh? Thanks GOD we have great local music like that to rock our worlds. And that we have such a wonderful club like the 9:30 Club to enliven us with such aural treats.

And isn't it cool that the 9:30 Club is offering special $50 tickets to people who want a VIP standing area spot and a "meet and greet" with Dar Williams. A place up front AND you get to talk to the artist? Most clubs would insist that you actually show up early for these opportunities (or stick around after the show), but the 9:30 Club has now given people the opportunity to pay twice the cover charge for these opportunities. GOD Bless the 9:30 club, for selling these unique opportunities to clubgoers!

Hanson rules! Bright Eyes Rules! Doctor Doom rules! Walkonby is funny, funny, funny, if I do say so myself. I cherish the ground on which he doth roam.

George Bush...oops, can't say anything bad. Man, that George Bush has to be the most physically fit President in history. I'll bet he works out two hours a day. What an admirable man.

How am I doing? Positive enough?

Yeah, I can guarantee that's one I won't be posting on.  Notify V. Bede immediately.

is your reading comprehension really that bad?  it can't possibly be.  work with me, here.

y'all are not following me.  i said to leave the newbies and those that don't want to be a part of the mudslinging alone.  that means that there may be entire threads that don't have negative posts.  if nobody is interested in them, they will go away.  if they thrive, then maybe there's some interest.

i have repeatedly said that those interested in carrying on with each other are more than welcome to continue to do so.  all you have to do is LEAVE THE DAMN NEWBIES ALONE.  nobody is telling you that you have to become nice, grownup, decent folk all of a sudden.  just learn how to not post sometimes.  it's really easy.  i know how great it is to see your oh so witty pretend name that you have changed three times that week up in pretty lights on your computer screen, but you really don't need to put it on every thread.

fyi the age poll thread  i created was so i could find out why some of you post in the manner you do. i long susepcted that the reason was that some of you are simply just plain young! like some pimply-faced 14 yo kid at the computer with a BIG NAME sort of how behind it all the wizard of oz was this little guy. besides who has all that time and desire to sit even into the evening on a forum for thousands of posts?!? i think i would like to change my name to "The EradddddicaTORRRRR!"

a sure sign of inexeperience and youth is being so sure of one's perception, that there is only one or a few ways to see soemthing. usually not seeing or acknowledging there may be perceptions unknown to you or the situation at hand [ahem, sonic].
