Not going, didn't get a ticket in time. Incidentally, did anyone notice how bored the bassist looked on Conan? The two guys playing guitar were moving around and rocking out but he was just standing there looking dull.

On a semi-related note, what kind of guitar does that one guy have? I've never seen one like it before.

Not only will I be at the show, but I will probably also be dancing in the front row.

No joke- I went through 3 copies.  How the hell do all my CDs get so scratched?  This is the most I've been excited about a show since The Shins @ Black Cat.   :D

Well, if you're like my brother then you don't put them in their case.  Does that bother anyone else to no end?

Glasgow's Franz Ferdinand brought their unique brand of arty rock'n'roll to the offices of SPIN on Tuesday, delighting staff members and sandwich caterers alike with a short acoustic set. According to singer/guitarist Alex Kapranos, the band had never before performed a live acoustic set before. Everyone was so impressed that Kapranos declared the band would soon be performing unplugged in the subway for "coppers." Great Scot! Franz Ferdinand will be playing NYC's Webster Hall tonight and at club Volume tomorrow night; the Shampoo club in Philly on Saturday; the 9:30 club in DC on Sunday; and the Cotton Club in Atlanta next Tuesday.
